Making cookies to learn about change.

The children had lots of fun making cookies today to learn about chocolate and what happens when cookie dough is heated. They get to eat them and investigate the different bewteen the cookie dough and cooked cookie tomorrow...the best bit!!

We added the sugar to the butter.

We added the yolk of an egg to the butter and sugar.

We did lots of mixing.

We added flour and cocoa powder.

The mixture turned to dough.

We used our hands to knead the dough.
